Travel to Varadero

  • Flight to Varadero.
  • Arrival at Juan Gualberto Gomez International Airport in Varadero.
  • Pick up at the airport and transfer to the sea-flanked peninsula of Varadero. Arrive to your hotel and check in. To celebrate your first night in Cuba. Have dinner at the hotel

Day to rest and to enjoy the Caribbean.

  • You can enjoy excellent Cuban cocktails at the pool and beach.
  • Non-motorized water sports equipment included.
  • Night – Live music and Artistic show at the hotel.

“Crucero del Sol”, the Beauty of our Seas – All day.

  • Visit Cay Blanco, lunch buffet including seafood and other options. Non-motorized water sports equipment included.
  • Pickup at the Hotel and transfer to Marina Gaviota.
  • Interactive swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in the most beautiful northern central region of Cuba’s coral reef. Open bar with beer, soft drinks, Cuban cocktails and snacks on Marina.
  • Transfer Marina Gaviota – Hotel.
    Experience the beauty of the turquoise waters surrounding the Varadero’s peninsula and the pearly-white sand and virgin beach of Cayo Blanco.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch with several options: lobster, fish, shrimp, squid, chicken, etc.

Free day to rest.

  • You can enjoy the spa and excellent specialty restaurants.

Jeep Discovery – Full Day Tour

  • This is a venture of more than 150 km tour along walkways, roads, quarries, palm tree stands and country villages. Snorkeling at Playa Coral (gear included). Visit to Cueva del Saturno (Saturn´s Cave). Free time for swimming. Panoramic tour of the city of Matanzas. Tour in Valle del Yumurí with stop at Rancho Gaviota that includes: welcome cocktail, visit to a farmer´s home, typical Cuban lunch, guided visit to crops and animal raising areas. Free time for horseback riding (not included in the tour price). An approximately 30 min. tour on a fast boat along the Canímar river, a protected area that offers the beauty and natural attractions of this place.

Suggested: Art and Crafts Tour (optional) – included

  • During the day, you could take the Tourist Bus near the hotel lobby, to enjoy a panoramic tour around Varadero. This will include a visit the town Art and Craft Market. The buses pass at approximately 1 hour intervals and during this day you have this service included in the Program

Free day or Bay of Pig Tour. (Optionals) – Not Included in the program price.


  • Early in the morning after breakfast, transfer to Bay of Pig. You will cross the province of Matanzas from North to South, you will travel 70 miles (appx. 1:45 hours).


Optional # 1 – Guama and Treasure Lake

  • You will ride on speedboats on the Hatiguanico river, walk along the ecological trail to the springs where the river is born. Tour Includes refreshment. Continue the boat ride through the river to Placer de las Lisas where the river can be seen in all its magnitude. Visit to the tourist farm “Fiesta Campesina”. Visit to the crocodile farm. Travel by boat through the Treasure Lagoon to the Guamá Tourist Center. Visit to Taíno Village, exact replicate of a Cuban aboriginal settlement.


Instead of visiting The Guama Touristic Center you may choose to do one of the 2 alternative options that are not included in the basic price of the program, a supplement must be paid.


Optional # 2 – Scuba Diving (not included in the program price).


Take a transfer to Diving Center “Octopus” in Playa Larga, you will travel 60 miles (appx. 1:30 hours).

      • Together with the diving specialist in the area, you will do one dive and you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the underwater world and the transparency of the water in the area.


Optional # 3 – Bird watching (not included in the program price).


You will be transferred directly to “La Salina” – One of the most beautiful places in the area, for bird watching and nature lovers, you will travel 80 miles (appx. 2:00 hours).

      • Together with a specialized guide, you will visit this protected and well-preserved place. During the tour, which takes approximately 3 hours, you will observe endemic and endangered birds, such as “Gallinuela de Santo Tomas” and Hummingbird, as well as iguanas, flamingos and others
      • After enjoying one of the three options, you will arrive at Caleta Buena, where you will have lunch and time to rest. At Caleta Buena you can take a swim and do snorkel in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy a delicious typical Cuban lunch. Open Bar at the beach. (Included in the Program).
        4:00 pm Return to the hotel.

Return trip to USA.

      • Hotel check out and transfer to Varadero airport for return flight to USA.
