Flight to Havana

  • Arrival at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana.
  • Welcome by a Representative of Vemares, pick up at the airport and transfer to the Hotel in Havana.
  • In the afternoon, Sunset in Havana Tour (Group Tour)
    • At 5:00pm appx. Pick up at the hotel with air-conditioned vehicle. Bilingual guide service. Visit to the historic center of Old Havana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
    • Enjoy a scenic drive that will take you around the National Capitol (monumental work of the Twentieth Century and former home of the legislature in Cuba before 1959), the Grand Theater of Havana (a baroque architectural wonder that serves as the main house for the world-famous Cuban National Ballet), Parque Central, the Central Park and the Paseo del Prado (first walk outside the walls of the old city, which opened in the late eighteenth century and it is considered to be a true Cuban architectural jewel).
    • Walking tour through the 4 Squares: Plaza San Francisco de Asís, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza Vieja, during this tour you will appreciate the splendor of Havana in colonial times.
      • Plaza de la Catedral (Cathedral Square), dominated by the Baroque facade of the Cathedral of Havana.
      • Plaza de Armas, where you will find Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, the house of the Spanish governors in the colonial era.
      • Plaza de San Francisco de Asis, a paved space with fluttering pigeons, framed by historic buildings such as the Convent and the Church of St. Francis of Assis, in which the tower was for centuries the highest point in the Villa.
      • Plaza Vieja, originally known as Plaza Nueva. It was first used for military exercises, then became an open-air market, and it is now dotted with restaurants, cafes, bars and brasseries.
    • Then to transfer to the Fort of San Carlos de la Cabaña where you will enjoy the Cannon Shot Ceremony at 9.00 pm. The City of Havana was founded in 1514 by Spanish conquistador Diego Velázquez. Its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1982.
      Here you will see the recreation of the traditional 9:00 PM cannon shot ceremony, used in the colonial times as a sign for approaching vessels and the closing of the city wall gates to protect Havana from pirate attacks.
  • Dinner included at a restaurant in Old Havana.

Viñales, the land of tobacco (Group Tour) – All day.

  • 7:45 am appx. Pick up at the Hotel.
    • Departure to the Valley of Viñales, 120 miles from Havana. Viñales National Park has been declared a Natural Heritage Site. The area has very fertile lands, it’s where the famous Cuban tobacco is grown and harvested. Upon arriving, you will make a stop at Los Jazmines observation point, where one can take in the impressive views of the natural environment.
    • Visit to a tobacco factory, get to know their staff, learn about their lifestyle, work and about the process of the tobacco production in Cuba.
    • Stop in the valley “Dos Hermanas, with time for photos in the Mural of Prehistoric, painted by contemporary artists and farmers on the side of a “mogote,” the rock formation typical of this Valley–a wooded hill 120 meters high.
    • Then visit La Cueva del Indio, a cave complex where you will tour interesting geological formations and an underground gallery, with a stretch of subterraneous river that we navigate on powerboats.
  • Return to Havana.
  • Optional night, Tropicana Cabaret with dinner – not included in the package.
    • Tropicana is a world-known Cabaret, the most spectacular of the cabarets to open sky. It’s a unique place to enjoy the music and the Cuban folklore in all their color, musicality and rhythm, an art extravaganza to multiply the Cuban happiness of a true tropical night. Marlon Brando, Ernest Hemingway, Rita Hayworth, and J.F.K., to name a few, frequently visited this famous place. After the show the dancers engage with the audience members and invite them to the stage for dancing.

Go to Varadero!!!

  • After breakfast, hotel check out.
  • 10:00 am Transfer to Varadero
  • On the way to Varadero, stop at the Bacunayagua Bridge, where you will taste an exquisite Piña Colada cocktail.
  • Accommodation at 4-Star Hotel in Varadero, all inclusive.
  • Free time to enjoy nature.

Varadero Beach: “Crucero del Sol”, the Beauty of our Seas (Group Tour).

Experience the beauty of the turquoise waters surrounding the Varadero’s peninsula and the pearly-white sand and virgin beach of Cayo Blanco. Enjoy a delicious lunch with several options: lobster, fish, shrimp, squid, chicken, etc

  • Visit Cay Blanco, lunch buffet incluiding seafood and other options. Non-motorized water sports equipment included.
  • Pickup at the Hotel and transfer to Marina.
  • Interactive swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in the most beautiful northern central region of Cuba’s coral reef. Open bar with beer, soft drinks, Cuban cocktails and snacks on Marina.
  • Transfer Marina Gaviota – Hotel.

Return trip to United States

  • After breakfast, hotel check out.
