One of the 12 categories of authorized travel to Cuba by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is Educational Activities including People to People activities. Americans have been participating in People to People Trips to Cuba since 2000. These People to People Travel Programs offer you a unique and convenient opportunity to get to know the Cuban people. You will get to see the real Cuba and will interact with the locals in a way that tourists almost never get to experience. The programs are intended to enhance contact with the Cuban people and support the civil society in Cuba. You can join one of our scheduled Small Groups, with an average of 12 people, or you can form your own Family and Friends Group. Family and Friends Groups can be customized to your like.

Our Client Reviews:
Hello Vemares, Despite our problems with baggage via jetblue we had a wonderful vacation. Galia was outstanding and did everything that she could to help us in our situation. She was a great tour guide and representative of the wonderful people of Cuba. I also want to mention Ahmed our driver. I felt like we were with close friends or family and want you know how much we appreciated their guidance and kindness.
Also the three Casa Particulares hosts were wonderful. The rooms comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and their company felt like we had known them for years.
I’ve returned from my trip to Cuba and want you to know that I was very pleased with the arrangements you made. Please feel free to use me as a reference.
The 3 tours you arranged were very good, as were the guides and driver.
William Burrows, the cigar guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He went out of his way to assist me with the selection and purchase of cigars. Please let the agencies in Cuba know how good I feel he was, and that they can recommend him for other travelers.
Thank you again,
I just wanted to let you know my friend and I came back from our Havana trip, on Sunday. We had a great time and everything was more than we expected. Great restaurants choices, accommodations and we hit the jackpot with our guide, Arturo…he was just amazing and very knowledgeable. Definitely, planning to go back and use Vemares services again!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Cuba. Our guide Vladimir and our driver Jesus Dessy were very accommodating and helpful. We learned so much about Cuba, the history, culture, etc. and would encourage others to go.
We loved the food at all of the places included in the trip and other places of Havana. The hotel food was just ok.
If you could send a link of somewhere you’d like for me to review I would be glad to do that.
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip to Cuba this month. Everything went just as planned from arrival to departure. We were greeted at the airport by our guide for the stay, Lisandra Barrios, and our driver Cromuel Valero. Lisandra is a lovely and engaging individual who is highly knowledgeable about all we saw. She is polite, timely and experienced. Her English is flawless and she mentioned she is fluent in Italian as well. Cromuel is a safe, experienced driver who was a delight to have in our company all week. It was a relief to know we were in good hands with the two of them. I must say, by the end of our stay we felt like we were saying good to close family members. Lisandra and Cromuel added a unique, personal connection to Cuba for us and made it an experience we will always remember. We enjoyed all aspects of our trip and the wonderful itinerary you put together for us. Thank you so much for your efforts on our behalf.
